EMERGENCY RESPONSE CAPABILITY AUDIT
EPS personnel have spent the past fifteen years travelling across thirty six countries, conducting independent Petrochemical Emergency Response bench marking reviews and site assessments.
As third party Independent Advisers, EPS can support facility management teams in order to audit and review current Emergency Response competencies and capabilities. A gap analysis is created in order to allow facilities to benchmark against both international emergency response standards and industry best practice.
Organisational Capability Review and site assessment Includes:
- Emergency response review covering all areas including asset management.
- Vehicle suitability and management.
- Equipment types, condition and operability.
- Pre incident fire plans.
- Foam concentrate logistics, storage management and deployment.
The audit allows for a ‘justification mechanism’ to allow responsible managers to utilise a third party independent report, whereby the findings and recommendations can be utilised to prepare strategic plans for internal improvements to be implemented.
The Independent report can also be utilised to demonstrate Operational Excellence where applicable, satisfying facility management needs.
Training and development is the primary foundation to any professional emergency response team, department or service. EPS can also undertake Emergency Response competency reviews and assessments. Once complete, facility management can both analyse current performance but also implement a ‘fit for purpose’ training and educational framework catering for all core skills in line with site specific needs and industry best practice.
