Purpose of Service

To provide leadership, equipment and expertise to execute in the rescue of persons from confined spaces and high Level structures.

THE SERVICE PROVISION

To supply the following:

• Experienced personnel in Rope and Confined Space Entry Rescue and all equipment required to carry out any rescue required.
• To advise on and lead any existing rescue provision on site for high risk activities, including working at height on structures and confined space entry.
• To provide a standby rescue service for shutdown activities ensuring the following documentation is in place:
• Confined space rescue plan.
• Safe aystems of work.
• Method atatement for rescue activities.
• Permit to work.
• Risk assessment.
• Atmospheric testing of the space.
• To provide on site fire & medical cover for shutdowns and planned maintenance.

We work alongside the customer ensuring the above arrangements are in place for the activities being undertaken.

PROVEN EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

EPS has a wealth and depth of industrial rescue operations including rescue from confined spaces, and structural rescue. Our team are also highly trained and experienced in carrying out emergency medical treatment at the scene in accordance with industry best practice including first aid and resuscitation.

OUR ‘ON SITE’ SERVICES INCLUDE:

Confined Space Rescue

Should an emergency situation arise and a rescue is required, our experienced team(s) will be on standby equipped with the required equipment to conduct an effective rescue.

Trained Attendant Duties

Supply of the Standby Attendant, supporting permit issuers and site management in the safe execution of confined space entries ensuringjob activities are in line with the permit to work and rescue plan.

24/7 – 365 Days Per Year Cover

Our confined space standby teams are available for planned projects or emergency call outs every day of the year, we are renowned for supporting short notice and unplanned confined space work, no matter if the job needs to be done on a week day, weekends or bank holidays.

Issue of Rescue Plans

Our Team Leaders are well experienced in both preparing and writing confined space and height rescue plans.

Confined Space Entry & Safety Management

Our team will support and where required manage your entry requirements from start to finish, covering pre project planning all the way through to project debriefing once the job is complete.

Plant Shutdown Standby’s

EPS have supplied rescue teams the length and breadth of the UK supporting our customers to get the job done within budget and within process timeframes. We can advise customers in preparation for the commencement of the work and where required demonstrate the means of rescue prior to the job, putting the customer at ease that all rescue emergency arrangements are suitable and ‘fit for purpose’.
