TANK FIRE EMERGENCY RESPONSE Training

COURSE OVERVIEW

The course addresses the technical knowledge required to effectively respond to a Major Tank Fire Emergency. A comprehensive course whereby on return to the asset, such knowledge can be applied during Operational management of bulk storage tank fires and unforeseen tank events.

The course is delivered by globally experienced flammable liquid, Petrochem, Tank Firefighting Instructors with over fifty years Operational Experience on Refineries, Tank Farms and High Hazard Facilities.

The course designed to allow students the fundamentals of tank fire emergency response including dealing with full surface bund fires and non fire related incidents.

Duration

Standard four day course, however can be customer specific fully dependant upon site operations and specified risks.

Pre Requisites

Nominated course students should have:

  • Solid knowledge of onsite operations and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of onsite emergency procedures.
  • Be proficient in the English language including reading and writing.
  • Posses reasonable English language communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of the facility they are employed including emergency pre plans, tank types and hazards.

Certification

All Students that complete the course will receive a certificate of Completion.
